1. So tell me about where you grew up, have you lived there all your life or have you bounced around a lot?

I grew up in the ‘burbs of Cape Town. Edgemead to be precise. Spent my school years there. Moved out after college. Travelled around. Now I’m in the countryside with my own family.

2. When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be and what would you say is your dream job now?

When I was just a small cat I wanted to be a vet. I have no dream job at the moment. I am doing what I want to do.

3. Have you got a big family, how many?

I have a younger brother, mom and dad who live in the city. My wife, my young daughter and I live in Swellendam.

4. What is without doubt the best experience of your life?

Without a doubt, the day my daughter came to earth.

5. If you could have any super power what would it be?

Flight. Maybe transform into a bird. Crow probably.

6. If you could hang out with any star for a day who would it be?

I’d go see Bob Marley live with my brother Chris, George Harrison, Jesus and Francois & Wynand from Fokof.

7. What makes the world go round?

Objects in motion tend to stay in motion. Objects at rest tend to stay at rest.
It is the force of friction that tends to stop Earth-bound objects from moving forever. But for the Earth rotating on its axis, there is no force working to counteract the rotation of the planet. So magick makes the earth go round.

8. What makes you a better person than the average man on the street?

What a strange question…. I am no better or less than any other life form on this planet.

9. What music are you listening to at the moment?

Right now at this moment as I am typing I’m listening to “Angels” on Black Mountains “In the Future”

10. Do you think there is an afterlife, what kind do you expect to find?

I am sure there is some kind of afterlife, I try to focus my attention on the present moment so that I don’t miss a thing. The past is history, tomorrows a mystery…It’s all here now.
