Battle Of The Best 2012 runner-up announced!  

  Designers, and design lovers, gather round and lend us your eyeballs! By now you’d have seen the results in our almighty Battle of the Best 2012, in which our best designers fought out a tough battle and submitted some truly amazing work! In the tradition of our Battles, everyone brought out their big guns, but when it came down to it (kinda like Highlander) there could be only one! And as everyone now knows, the crown was snatched by one of our longest-standing and most prolific designers, Grant Shepley (aka Gamma-Ray), with his all-time epic creation, ‘Forever Famous’. Yep, he’s the same guy who we used to know as ‘CHUCKY’! For those who haven’t seen that design, look no further - or at least, look down and gaze upon its iconic magnificence!

But enough with the preamble - you came here to find out who the mysterious runner-up is, right? RIGHT! Well OK, we won’t hold you in suspense any longer! It’s a design from another of our longest-standing designers, a guy so talented he runs his own design shop nowadays, and someone with such a knack for spotting a classic that deserves a twist that his are amongst our best selling items of all time. Yes - you guessed it! It’s Mike Scott, with a design that follows in the wake of his awesome ‘Esempowenis’, which so many people know and love. Ladies and gents, please wrap your eyeballs around…The Simpsamoonies!     Congratulations to Mike, for a totally well-deserved runner-up prize, this is a truly awesome take on the classic Simpsons shot! Mike gets a spot prize of $250 - and the shirt is now available in our store! So, is that it? No more runners-up? Well…actually…we’re going to keep you in suspense - check back on our blog in a couple of weeks for more on that!
