Moss Art – a different way of design on the streets shoutOut 1 day, 16 hours ago by Maike in peeps |

Hey there guys and girls! For the past few days I have been looking at different kinds of street art for inspiration and was really amazed by the new discoveries I came across.
Moss Art, better know as Moss Graffiti, is such a great way to let creative people express themselves in an urban setting. Even better, moss art is eco-friendly as it lacks the toxins and chemicals of regular art materials. Normally the designer will use a mix of yoghurt and sugar to stick the moss onto bricks. However, another method is to blend moss with yoghurt and sugar and then paint it onto the wall. After a few weeks of being watered, the moss begins to grow. There are also some moss graffiti artists who prefer to attach their creations in a ready-made form. Whatever the process is, using moss as art invariably means that the nature of the art will change over time.
During the last few years artists such as Edina Tokodi and Jozsef Valyi-Toth have created many different kinds of Moss Graffiti throughout New York City. Their work is better known as ‘Mosstika’, which also describes their pseudonym. Their work even has the power to captivate people who are in a rush (New Yorkers are always in a rush!), who can’t help but stop by and take some time to have a look at their incredible artwork. It basically assaults passers-by on multiple sensory levels. It’s soft, it’s alive and it’s shaped in such a way as to remind us of life without big city lights, stress and noisiness. For a short moment you can relax, breathe and even rest your body just by looking at the Moss Graffiti. I must admit, I’m really surprised that a little bit of green art can truly change the vibe of city life in such a very positive way. I’m desperately trying to find more examples of this art form in other cities around the world.
Have you discovered green art or even moss graffiti in your neighborhood? It would be great if you could share some images or links to graffiti art with me! I can’t wait to see even more inspirational street art like this. Miriam |

King of Comments, Queen of Quotes - WINNERS shoutOut on 5/4/11 by DuncanBoxie in wordUp | 2 days, 15 hours ago by Valesidecc | 7

………………………..
……………………….. Long live the Queen :) Congratulations to our very first winner for 2012, Xiamist. Wow, this is our third Queen of Quotes in a row. The girls are really showing the guys how it’s done. Nice one ladies!
Xiamist (aka: Galaxie Maria) is one of those designers that we really appreciate around these parts. She has created fantastic community interaction by coming up with a clever infographic on how you can vote for ‘her’ design. Her infographic is extremely helpful to our community, but at the same time it was also a rather clever way of racking up some votes for her ‘The Ultimate Nommage’ submission to our Marmite contest. Good thinking! You can take a look at her infographic by checking out our original blog posting. It will educate and make you laugh all at the same time. Marketing your own design is never as easy as it seems, but this was a truly fantastic way of getting herself some valuable design exposure. Once again, well done, we hope that the community sees this effort and emulates your creativity. Bravo! ……………………….. DECEMBER 2011 WINNER – CARIANNE ……………………….. We bow before thee!!!
The Springleap.com team sends out a hearty congratulations to our latest Queen of Quotes winner, Carianne Klein Katryn.
After a hard year for most designers it was great to see her uplifting comments coming through in December’s contests. We appreciated it, so you can just imagine how thankful our designers were to receive such a ‘gushing of goodness’.
Sometimes she will leave short to-the-point messages showing her love for a design, other times she will leave comments that help designers to improve their work, without being too harsh. Not only has this uber friendly member commented like crazy on Springleap, but also very prolifically on our ever growing Facebook page.
We are very happy to crown this latest winner! ……………………….. NOVEMBER 2011 WINNER – IZZICANE ……………………….. Hail to the QUEEN….again!
We are very happy to announce our very first queen (or king for that matter) to win this coveted compo for the second time. It’s not just about the genuine comments that she makes on designs either. Elzaan takes it upon herself to speak about Springleap absolutely everywhere she goes. Yep, she is like a one-woman Springleap marketing team. You ROCK!!!
Check out her picture on the left, Elzaan even got involved in our Movember awareness campaign.
Congratulations Elzaan, we are very happy to once again give you a seat on this hallowed throne! If you would like to read more about Elzaan, please scroll down a bit further and read her original Queen of Quotes write-up. Just for the information of the other members: Springleapers can be Queen/King more than one, as long as there is a 3 month period between wins and that he/she cannot win more than twice in any given year. Elzaan is a Springleaper who is adding serious value to our platform. She doesn’t hover silently in the background and really gets conversations going between voters and designers. Well done once again, you well and truly deserve it!!! ……………………….. OCTOBER 2011 WINNER – WILBUR LIKE SMITH ……………………….. Monsoon, Assegai, River God?…..nope wrong kinda Wilbur! All hail our October King of Comments, Wilbur Like Smith! We are happy to announce a winner that really impressed us with his positive nature. Considering that he made lots of comments of our Positive Heroes competition entries we feel that he is definitely the right choice.
Wilbur Like Smith is one of those guys who gets involved and helps build the confidence of designers! Just have a lookie at his comments and you will begin to see what we look for in a King:
“This is also a great pattern concept. Wanted to say that the logo could have been one of the four blocks, but I like the off-balance composition, nice work” “I really like the image, but it's a bit comical for the topic :)”
You see what I mean? He is helpful and very good-natured in how he gets his opinion across. This is what our King had to say when he received the crown: This is so orsm!!1! That's why I love Springleap!! You guys rock, apart from not just having great designs, fantastic print work, Springleap has gone and created a sense of community as well. Winning this reminded me of something I read the other day, the words are by Feenix (designer of the Goodjoe logo) - "Everyday throughout the nation, ordinary people are doing small things, acts of kindness that make a huge difference in the lives of others and continue to inspire and provide hope to so many." To all the designers, keep up the good work and good luck. Springleap's all about the designs and real people. (I still have to submit my first design) Thanks again to Wilbur Like Smith. It was tremendous to see your comments coming through and we know we will see more and more of you in the future.
We appreciate all your hard work. ……………………….. SEPTEMBER 2011 WINNER – UNCLEHANI ……………………….. NICE ONE! Time to crown our King of Comments for September! Springleap sends out a big highfive to UncleHani for all of his contributions to the competition this month. It is great to see a Leaper who takes the time to get involved and give some feedback for our design submissions.
One of the best things about UncleHani is the fact that he is very to the point! In many cases this is the most effective way to help designers out. They don’t want to hear false congratulatory nonsense, they want somebody to call a spade-a-spade and help them grow. I liked these comments below most. The reason being he is so friendly and supportive of the designers work in both cases:
“Loveliest design, I like the idea of the baby, attached to the plus sign, big ups!”
He also made me laugh when he made a typo on one of his comments and then quickly ‘rectified’ his mistake: Yup don’t wanna be giving the designers the wrong idea there, hehehe. This is what UncleHani had to say about why he loves Springleap: I love Springleap because it allows you to express yourself in a artistic manner, it keeps you out of trouble like drugs, crime etc. and I am thankful
to God for the minds that started the Springleap campaign.
UncleHani has sent through so many great designs to our competition. It has been really amazing watching his style develop over the past few months. His latest submission Sesame Street meets Twilight was a really fun design, which had us all in stitches here at the HQ. Thanks again UncleHani…we know we will see you around! ……………………….. AUGUST 2011 WINNER – EFFIN’SWEET ……………………….. WINNER WINNER WINNER! SUPER CONGRATS go out to Effin’Sweet for winning our King of Comments competition for August . What we love about Effin’Sweet is that he is not at all condescending when he makes his comments about designs. He is helpful and gives suggestions for placement, but is never cocky or elitist when he does so.
It’s cool that he is always mega chilled and friendly!
Here are a few recent comments from Effin’Sweet which I felt illustrated his style of commenting: 1. “I quite like this one...out of the three I like the red version best, but I also like the red and blue version, I think that the randomness of colour becomes a bit busy, maybe try doing the Rev counter Red, speedo white and fuel gauge side blue.” 2. “Haha...cool glasses. If you break up some of the solid black it could look really good.” 3. “Nicely Done! I dunno why but I’m feeling like a slogan of sorts could have gone well at the bottom of the illustration.” You see what I mean? Zero aggression or negativity....just useful and happy comments. Effin’Sweet most recently collaborated with none other than local South African design guru, CHUCKY, to put together one of the most memorable and unique designs from the LEXUS ‘CT 200h’ competition. There were so many people at the Springleap HQ who felt that this one was a winner. To find out more about Effin'Sweet why not check him out on his Twitter page.
Thanks to Effin’Sweet for all the positive energy, we LOVE IT!!! ……………………….. JULY 2011 WINNER – MATSANNI ……………………….. Weeeee have a WINNER! Well done to Sannidya (AKA: Matsanni ) for scooping our King of Comments prize for July . We are always impressed with the awesome contributions this Springleaper adds to the website. Not only does he always have a positive word to say about a design, but he is also very helpful with insights that can help designers improve their work. We often talk about the “balance” of the ‘perfect critique’ and how if you are too negative you could scare off designers , or if you are too positive, the designer never learns from their mistakes.
Matsanni has his comments down to a fine art and always seems to leave the designers informed and confident about what they produce. Take these examples of his comments below for instance, if I was the designer I would be so amped about my design: 1. “BADASS character , I love the firm line, nice coloring and the distressed effect. I can’t imagine how cool I am when I wear this tee on the summer and I will wear the sunglasses, I don’t wanna have too much eyes LOL well done”
2. “Heya mr.Barmalisi See what I mean? He is open and friendly , makes you feel good about your design, but also shares insights in a controlled manner. Many of you will already know Matsanni from his amazing winning design No place for Hubris! Which blew away the competition in the April 1 OPEN THEME compo. So, not just a talented designer , but a helpful member of our community too! You are a legend Matsanni, thanks for your contributions . You are most certainly the deserving winner of our King of Comments for July HIGH FIVE ……………………….. JUNE 2011 WINNER – BLEET ……………………….. Once again it is time to crown our monthly King of Comments . Congratulations go out to Warren (AKA: Bleet) for his contributions and genuine feedback! The designers he has helped will no doubt grow from his advice and comments.
What we like most about Bleet’s comments is the fact that they are critical without coming across as harsh …which is paramount to helping improve designers, without crushing their spirits altogether!
Bleet uses a bit of humour to get his message across, for example he said, “Reminds me of snakes and ladders, would have been cool if u connected the 2. Snakes and ladders with the dude, ok that concept is free, next one you will have to pay ;) “, haha.
Bleet is already earning himself huge praise from the Springleap community and his skills seem to be growing at an exponential rate. When you consider how good he is it is abundantly clear that he will very soon have his first Springleap victory under his belt.
It’s one of those ‘It’s not if he will win, but WHEN’ kind of a situations. Thanks again for the great comments Bleet, enjoy your prize ;) ……………………….. MAY 2011 WINNER – IZZICANE ……………………….. May has been another amazing month here at Springleap, both of our Open Theme winners were absolutely brilliant and we announced the winner of the Stepdog competition.
We have had an equally impressive amount of informative feedback and comments from the community.
The great news is that we have our very first Queen of Comments. What I really like about our South African winner is that she may not be a designer, but she is passionate about good design. Izzicane says, “I’m not a designer or arty person but I love creativity and a good shirt :)!”
Not only did Izzicane get involved with most of the submissions up for vote, but she also tweeted on just about every design too. Izzicane had loads of insightful comments, but this is my favorite: “Great design Hanno, the layer affect really works well. I feel that the design or logo just needs a bit more colour though as it has a lot of white open space, which could be a bit distracting. Maybe if you put some more shading into the moon or dirty the white up a bit? Maybe consider enlarging the logo a bit as well to give it a bit more attention and like Maike said maybe place it closer to the moon. I love the hand drawn feel and I think you nailed the eerie and sombre feel you where going for, over a great piece of art.”
I like that she compliments the design, gives constructive criticism , but at the same time isn’t patronizing . Thanks again to Elzaan and well done! Find out more about the King of Comments, Queen of Quotes competitions. ……………………….. APRIL 2011 WINNER – SIMON ……………………….. Greetings one and all.
First off, thanks to the community for their awesome feedback with the April competitions.
It is usually a very difficult, or at least a close race, when it comes to making our choice. Huge congrats and thanks go out to Simon for his comments which undoubtedly helped raise our designers A-game . Here is one of his comments that I really enjoyed: Hey, you know what, I am a GUY and I love the pink, so bleh! This gives me the feeling of a vintage cake shop, I don’t know why, but I like cake so hey, what the hell! This is one of those shirts that I reckon would be quite “fashionable” when worn with some nice dark faded jeans. It has a ‘vintageness’ to it, and that seems fairly popular these days. I think the way you’ve used the typography as the “chair” is a clever touch. Because she is sitting down, one would naturally be drawn to the “chair”, in this case your words. Looking at your design preview on white, I think the design has been placed too large. Another thought, I could see this working without the background pink and it’s containing border, so if the girl just sat on the words to the left or right of the bottom area of the shirt I reckon that could work too? Agree?
For those of you who have been Springleapers for a long time , you will definitely recognise this talented designer’s work. Perhaps one of the greatest ‘designers designs’ ever to grace Springleap, came from this man. How long is a piece of String? , feature on the right hand side , is another simple yet effective design that helped raise Springleaps cred back in the day. Thanks again to Simon for being a true all-around Springleaper , who adds value to our platform and community. Enjoy your prize ;) ……………………….. MARCH 2011 WINNER – ACME ……………………….. Hi there friends . It’s time to announce our King of Comments winner for MARCH 2011! It has been really fantastic to see so many people getting involved and sending through positive feedback to our designers. We would like to send a big THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to our winner acme ! This designer had plenty of helpful hints for our community of designers, whilst still being a nice guy ;) Take a look at two of his comments below. This is just the sort of thing we are looking for from the King of Comments, Queen of Quotes winner: “I think the concentric circles make it a bit stiff overall, specifically the outer ones . It could loosen a bit then it would be really great. The fist and electric shocks are the most powerful elements of this design so that should be the focus” “That unicorn is EPIC! Would have loved to see more of the unicorn and clouds without the geometric elements though”
Acme is already very well known on Springleap!
You will surely know his hilarious Mule Bear and beach-arific Big Wave Challenge submissions.
Most recently acme’s Happy Dolphin design made a huge impression on our March 1 OPEN THEME.
Thanks again acme, we hope you enjoy your prizes .
So, who will be our King of Comments, Queen of Quotes winner for April? SL team. ………………………..

Massive Attack - South African tour 2012 shoutOut 2 days, 17 hours ago by DuncanBoxie in peeps |

Ok so I nearly swivelled straight off my chair! Ok, well, actually this is still very much a rumour. Apparently Massive Attack will be teaming up with the guys behind the Sonar music festival in Spain. Together they are looking to host Cape Town’s very own version of this acclaimed festival and all over the exact same weekend that Design Indaba will be on. That’s right - it coincides with Design Indaba which is running from 02-04 March. That is exactly a month from now…WOW so soon!!! Obviously details are still rather sketchy at this point, but I will keep my eyes and ears open for any and all info regarding the Massive Attack concert in Cape Town. I’m not exactly sure if the event will happen at the Design Indaba itself (CTICC) or if they will simply play ‘somewhere’ in Cape Town.
Does anybody have any solid reconnaissance to confirm this rumour? If you hear anything please let us know. Massive Attack concert Cape Town – please make this happen!

Robot design - evolution shoutOut 3 days, 17 hours ago by DuncanBoxie in peeps |

Robot design has changed so much over the years! These days you seem to have three prevailing groups of robots that continue to make their presence felt: mecha, retro-robo, contemporary
Mecha is the term given to robots (more precisely gigantic robot-like battle armour) that come from a Japanese animation origin, otherwise known as anime.
Take a look at this perfect example of an anime style robot design. Ahbiasaaja’s illustration ‘And outcome the Wolf’ shows the scale that some of these mecha can reach (which can in actual fact get much, much larger). Most diehard fans will usually list mecha such as those from Macross and Gundam fame, as your stereotypical mecha designs.
Retro-robo is the kind of robot design that our parents and grandparents remember from their youth. Stretching as far back as the weird and wonderful rounded robots during Asimov’s time, to the shapes of the 80’s, I would consider all of these to be retro. The humanoid style of the time, such as the C-3PO automaton of Star Wars, was a very popular trend in robot design that continues today.
Finally, contemporary robot design. Wow, this is a rather difficult category to define. The reason for this is the fact that the robotic design trends of the past all seem to have been integrated into what we term modern robot design. Retro, and more recently anime, have totally entrenched themselves in the minds of designers and undoubtedly the influence has become inescapable….nothing wrong with this at all, this is the evolution of robot design! I found this awesome illustration of the Star Wars B-2 Super Battle Droid. This is the exact kind of hybrid robot that incorporates a retro aesthetic with that of the anime influence. While this droid didn’t exactly look super hot in the movie, this illustration does look pretty awesome. I’m afraid I could not find the designers name, apologies there…anybody out there know his name? Where do you think robot design will go in the future? Have you got any awesome examples of robots that you feel don’t fit any of these 3 categories…I would really love to see them. R0b0t5-4-3v3r! |

The Marmite ‘Spread the Love’ contest was one of our most successful contests to date. We had designers from all over the world creating some seriously mind-blowing work…no doubt fuelled by their own passion for Marmite. Not only did we receive a massive amount of entries, but the vast majority were of a high design standard too. We were really happy to see submissions of this calibre. The great news that we received, after choosing our three winners, was the fact that Marmite loved the designs so much that they decided they wanted to procure even more! We are happy to announce that Marmite has decided to acquire Vcalahan’s Lovers submission, as well as GreboRocboy’s Marmite Love. Both of these stunning designs have adhered closely to the brief and were executed with marvellous style. Really impressive work, well done! You may have already noticed, but Vcalahan is also our Grand Prize winner for this contest. He has done very well for himself in ‘Spread the Love’ - his designs fit the brands vibe to perfection.
Springleap loves it when our designers get more than they bargained for! Thank you Marmite! |

Springleap Loves : Toya DeLazy - Pump It On shoutOut 1 week, 2 days ago by DuncanBoxie in peeps |

There is so much talent in South Africa’s music industry that it is often difficult to spot the gems amongst the gravel. That is except for singer songwriter, Toya DeLazy (aka: Latoya). This talented young singer, who also plays the piano, writes music and composes mind blowing music. Wow, that’s like the complete package isn’t it?
Toya deLazy started playing piano at the tender age of 9 and has since gone from strength to strength to become one of SA's most promising muscial talents. When you try and dissect Toya’s unique sound you are hit by a multitude of influences that range from R&B, soul and pop, to more classical sounds and the before mentioned jazz edge. The resulting sound is so spectacularly unique that it, please forgive me for saying this, doesn’t sound like it was produced in South Africa. Toya DeLazy has released her first single entitled Pump It On This has been performing very well on the local scene and fast become one of the songs of the Summer. Pump it on made its debut on 5fm (play-listed instantaneously…by the way) and has subsequently infiltrated just about every station in the country, including the college radio station, which I suppose makes sense when you think about this tracks party vibe. Definitely one of my best summer hits for 2011! It was impossible for me to shake the feeling that Toya is destined for big things. Everybody I have spoken to here at the Springleap HQ is in love with this girl’s voice and the creative blend of soulful pop infusion. Her music, particularly Pump It On just makes you wanna dance until your feet catch alight. Toya has now released the music video for Pump It On The video which was created by Adam Thal and Tristan Holmes of Star Productions. Well, these guys did an ace job of the music video, let me tell you. Although with the sheer power and talent that Toya DeLazy puts out there it was important that the video look and feel of the same quality….which they certainly pulled off with style – Great work!!!
One of the first things that struck me about Toya DeLazy’s music was the fact that it was very slickly produced. I mean you have to hear how well this music is put together. When I found out that Pump It On was produced by Jax Van Heerden and Johnny Deridder of Soft Light City, the dudes who put the zing in Jax Panik, it all suddenly became clearer. There is so much we would like to know about Toya. I feel determined to discover more about the woman behind the music and how she is able to create such a unique sound, especially when originality in the music world is seemingly dying at an ever increasing rate. Thanks for making my summer that much more special Toya, you kick serious bum! |

Samsung Smart Window - see the future shoutOut 1 week, 2 days ago by DuncanBoxie in peeps |

Geeks and techno-fiends alike erupted with cheers as the CES (Consumer Electronics Show 2012) let rip with a barrage of amazing devices that will undoubtedly trickle into our lives throughout the year and give the commercial market a boost into this-is-the-future tech. There were big strides by all the usual giants, but the device that got me the most excited was the preview of the new Samsung Smart Window. In essence this is a transparent LCD display, without back light units (BLU), but which incorporates a sort of ambient light display. This now means that the screen, or ‘window’, is completely transparent – you could now place this as a window overlooking your garden, or perhaps the window in your office.
The Samsung Smart Window may use ambient light, but the device will still work in low-light settings by harnessing the power of an “invisible BLU”. This creates luminosity when night falls or when you switch off the lights! The Samsung Smart Window has already been likened to the interactive screens of Minority Report and bear a striking resemblance to rudimentary ‘vid-screens’ found throughout popular science fiction *happy dance*.
Somebody I spoke to about the Samsung Smart Window was worried how much power this baby would suck! However, I read that most of the power drawn from your typical LCD display actually goes to the BLU’s, which this device goes without. This means that the Smart Window actually uses a tenth of the power a traditional LCD would….how about them apples, hehe. For you secretive types don’t worry that people on the opposite side can’t see what you are seeing, because the screen itself is one-way, with a mirrored effect on the opposite side. When these tasty gadgets will go into mass production is anybody’s guess. Samsung is keeping ‘mum’ on the release date, but when you watch the video you will see just how close they are to developing a commercially viable product (honestly they probably already are).
Who knows, we may be pulling Tom Cruise Minority Report impersonations by the end of the year!
I would love to hear your thoughts on the Samsung Smart Window. |

Springleap has recently appeared in Finweek (issue – 19 January 2012). Yes indeed, we have just been mentioned in one of South African’s most popular business magazines. This is such great news for us! It is always fantastic to see that publications, especially those in influential circles, are recognizing our achievements and sharing them with their readers. This Finweek article highlighted the fact that we have over 120 000 members and are now the fifth largest branded online Facebook community in South Africa. Well, actually now we are third largest ;) We are ecstatic, thank you Finweek!

Die Antwoord - new album - Ten$ion shoutOut 1 week, 3 days ago by DuncanBoxie in peeps |

Love em or hate em, South African music group Die Antwoord became an overnight sensation with their own unique blend of Zef music, which seems to be here to stay. Yup, that’s right, Die Antwoord are back! There has been quite a bit of hype surrounding their future and musical direction lately. Other than the massive billboard for SCAR Hair in the Cape Town CBD, featuring Ninja, I haven’t seen much of them.
Fans have been wondering whether they would keep their new material close to what we have come to expect from them or if there would be a new evolution to their sound. Last week, Die Antwoord fans were treated to the release of the first single from their upcoming album, Ten$ion, which is due for release on 07 February 2012. The track, I Fink U Freeky, has a seriously retro video-game sound to it – you know, the ‘shooty pew-pew’ sound effects. Also, after I finished listening to it, I felt like I had been taken on a rather nostalgic joyride back to the early 90’s ‘techno’ scene. It has an almost 2 Unlimited sound and vibe…no insult intended by the way! Die Antwoord have now subsequently released a teaser trailer to promote their forthcoming album, Ten$ion, which is set to release on February 7.
This rather dark and quirky video clip shows Yolandi Vi$$er transformed into an evil looking 'Tikoloshe'-like creature with a vicious visage and a penchant for the taste of demon blood. The short video is a teaser for the new album and features their newly released single, I Fink U Freeky, mentioned above.
The costume and make-up design in the video seem to resemble the artwork of South African born Jane Alexander…more specifically her work entitled, The Butcher Boys. There are so many people that give the group flack for their ‘dirty’ lyrics and hate the idea of South Africa being associated with a bunch of people who they consider “common” trash. Fact of the matter is, they have a legion of fans here in SA. People, especially the youth, identify with their sound and choice of lyrical savagery. Burying your head in the sand and acting like they have no impact on our local scene is pretty much like omitting the “G” from a gin & tonic…it just can’t be done! Here is the full track and video for I Fink U Freeky - GIVE IT A LISTEN (WARNING - explicit language)
As you can see, Die Antwoord never fails to cause a stir! They make people stop what they are doing and pay attention. It may be ‘shock factor’, it may be crude and at times embarrassing from a South African social perspective, but it is nearly impossible to not keep an eye on their movements, such is their own inherent magnetism. Just do yourself a favour and prepare yourself for more Ten$ion in the traffic :P Follow them on Die Antwoord Facebook Page and their Twitter account to keep up to date with their album launch. Also check out their website - WWW.DIEANTWOORD.COM - and MySpace profile for more zef-ness. Die Antwoord are still perched comfortably on their Zef Throne! PS: Check out I Fink U Freeky and let me know what you think ;)

Our latest Queen of Quotes winner is just such a person. She has gotten seriously involved in the commenting process and always brings an uplifting word for our hardworking designers.
There are few Springleapers that put as much effort as Elzaan (AKA: Izzicane) does into her comments. She is fair, helpful and highly informative. There is nothing worse than getting a one word comment, which is why when she breaks it down so nicely, I think the designers really appreciate it.
