While I was thinking about a concept to make an illustration, I found that no matter what complex is an idea, if it doesn’t work with the concept you have to rule out and go on with another idea.

I like the idea – sometimes we become attached to very complex thoughts that we have about very simple matters and create much suffering for ourselves.

The best place is often to start by observing our tendancies and cutting our bonds, not to the person or situations, but rather to our tendancies that keep placing us in such situations.

It is our attachment to ideas and processes that keep us from beingn free of the greatest cause of suffering : the ego and idea of ourselves. – a clinging to a state of permanence in an existence where nothing – not evern the uncerstanding of existence – is permanent.

Now I see. Yes, you can interpret that image, like a new born. I think that create an idea (or an image) is like a birth of a new child. Also means that the process is painful but gratifying. All depends of the point of view. Thanks to much Eric.

tx Jose

I see the umbilical cord of a baby being cut…

So it has nothing to do with this? A new start etc etc?

Eric, I was thinking about all the simple process of thought. Thanks to a paper wrote by Pablo Arango, called “Contra el pensamiento complejo” (“Against the complex thougth”), I could start to think an image about all that complex process. It involves a many kind of ideas that entwine and superimpose between them. The image is a call to purification, to have the great posibility of simplify the thought, because the excesive complex thougt always falls by itself.

Pues me da un retorcijón en el estómago con el primer vistazo, llega directo a las vísceras. Ya despues uno se queda mirando y da para pensar más… excelente para llevar esa sensación al mundo cotidiano en una camiseta. 5!
