Title:
CQC

I’m into games of the espionage/action style.
So i tried to give a video game look to the shirt.
You don’t see too many shirts with kickass guns on them…and a Socom would definately be my weapon of choice. I can’t get one legally…so can I wear one at least? geez:)
FYI…CQC stands for close quarters combat…
Gun comes complete with full clip and silencer…but the silencer will wear out yo so the blocks on top represent when it will wear out.
I used illustrator for the line work and the colours of the weapons with photoshop. I hope you can see that the gun and knife are dark grey not black.
ps: this thumbnail does my shirt no justice…guess it ain’t too bad..:)

Okay, I guess I wasn’t careful enough with my words. Yo there’s no need to defend someone you don’t even know…juvenile jocky? don’t think I’ve been called that before.

Dude there’s no need to sound like a juvenille jocky… Watch the language. Defending your own design is fine, but dissing people just because they don’t like your work isn’t cool. Don’t make things personal.

i disagree. perhaps it is a bit niche or whatever… but i definately haven’t seen a shirt exactly like mine. second, it’s a gun and a knife…perfectly relatable objects. and educational…socom is the name of the gun. i think you should give average people more credit. they get the message when you show a picture with a word underneath:) ps;perhaps my monitor needs replacing…but it looks red to me. maybe its the gray highlight effect that makes it look pink?

My basic feeling on this kind of shirt is that it is too niche and personal to appeal to a wide enough market. It’s also something that has been done before and often by the software company that actually produces the “half-life” type games. The best t-shirts are ones that express the artist authentically – not a derivation of games they like to play so much as what expresses the feeling ofr situation. Using words like SOCOM is meaningless to the average person so there is no way they could relate to the image. The best designs appeal to a very broad range of people who are eithere entranced by the cleverness of a situation, the overall aesthetic or a personal recognition with the elemts depicted in the design That’s my 2 cents!

Hey there On each screen it will look a little different but the writing is definitley more pink/marron than a hard red. Nothing can be done about it from our side – the artist needs to chec their colours and jpg images before submitting!
