One of our most important elections are just around the corner, and I’m personally a bit sick of all the negative hullabaloo and poo-flinging around it – so I’ve decided to make it something a bit more interesting – and to experiment with a new style :)
I have a dream: To wear this tee to the ballot on the 22nd of April! And as far as dreams go it’s quite a grand one, too… :P

Thanks for the comment! I knew it’d b controversial and get a lot of “boos” before I even started. But what the hey I went for it :) Thanks for your comment, I’d much rather receive honest opinions than not :) I can see where you’re coming from, as if you think it’s like a “vote whoever” kinda public announcement message… Sure this isn’t nice and fuzzy, it’s real and in your face, and brings reality into your personal space… And that just goes to show I don’t just do light and fuzzy… I do love commentry where commentry is due. PS There’s no fonts involved there… I drew the whole thing by hand, Typography’s one of my favourite design elements! PPS That Obama zombie shirt on emptees – you’d probably hate that too, but I love it, I’m pro-Obama, but it just looks cool. Sometimes the line between preference and irritation and other stuff is very blurry!

My least favourite of all your subs Tu, I must say. Somehow feels like a cheap shot for some reason. Your other stuff had more of an individual feel about them, nice ‘n fuzzy. This political gander leaves me feeling…cheap, like a political roadside poster. Could be my neurosis with politics combined with the heavy font. Nice enough illo, but I just wouldn’t really want to wear a shirt that has anything to do with Jacob Zuma or Helen Zille. I can see you put a lot of work into it, but I’m just not passionate about it. Your design and the blurb too just kind of come across as a cheap shot to me. Your other stuff – great.

Hey guyz thanks for the kind comments :) I’ve only taken hints from Mr Zapiro – certainly won’t claim to have anything on a professional who pushes out amazing commentary on a daily basis!! I do hope really to be able to wear this on election day – that would be just awesome :D
