Igy: you tell Simon that his spelling needs work, but uh, have a look at the description for your shirt…

Why is everyone being so rude about Simons comment when there are HUNDREDS of comments that are MUCH worse than his on springleap??? Learner Designer could’ve implied STUDENT: someone who is Learning to Design… It was your PERSONAL OPINION to take it in a rude way! Yes maybe it seemed a bit rude, but why is it being blown so out of proportion? What about the other bad comments?
The same people who say he is rude are being even MORE rude about HIM.Quite low.
So much for freedom of speech on this site, I thought everyone was entitled to their opinion but clearly it is only a select few that are.

I agree as well Cerebra, I think that since threadless and designsbyhumans are so big and the people that vote are so SO SAVVY when it comes to the designs and what it takes to make a halftone gradient or shadows, so when something like this comes along they will chew it up.

It’s funny that the design that most said is simple has the biggest response (good or bad) so you did something right Igy.. Theres no such thing as bad publicity..

LAME! about as original as a good looking girl

IGY, I am so with you. Please see my response below:

I also make my living selling pictures and words (and I think good spelling is IMPERATIVE) but even if I didn’t…

:) I didn’t know there were supposed to be sweat stains on our submissions, people … the brief is to design T-Shirt that will SELL … not simply to gather and enjoy the smell of our own FARTS! Ha. :)

Thanks for the support guys.
Thing is – to simon and all the other critics – on this site specifically, designers, and yes I’m a real designer that get’s a salary each month for being a designer, have the privilege to go far & as crazy as they want to go (so long it’s within the ‘borders’ of the front of the T). There was no rules / limitations as to how one can design a t-shirt, how big one can or can’t make their design, which design or colour to use or not to use.
If you go past your petty emotions, you will see that this t-shirt is more one that appeals to those with a sense of humour. Learner drivers have big “L’s” on the cars, thus the big “L”, and sometimes our drivers need to wear the t-shirt too, to be fore-warned.
P.S. – Simon, I think there’s room for improvement in your spelling. It’s harsh not harsch.
