Well, the flower has a limited lifespan and this one is getting close to making its last stand. By facing the sun, the flower shows that it isn’t afraid of death and can die with honour. Comical, yet with deep undertones

This started out as a doodle, which i turned into a shirt design. Its one of those that you can interpret in whatever way you please, my description of the design (listed above) is my interpretation of the doodle “too clipart”?? Dude, half the shirts i wear you’d probably say the same thing – some people like very simple forms with significant (or insignificant) meaning. the whole idea here is little detail big emotion. Well, I’ve stepped back from the design and asked myself “would I buy this shirt if it was in a store?†– and was really strict with myself. I’d totally buy it

Yeah I agree it’s a bit clipart as well. I get it’s kiff and simplistic, but perhaps a little too much so.

Yaaaaahhhh.. I get it – but the design is too “clipart”. it would have been so much better with a bit more stylization and characterization. I think it is very important for the designer to step back from a design sometimes and ask “would I buy this shirt if it was in a store?” – and be really strict with yourself. The concept is totally cool – but the image doesn’t convey that message. Your other stuff is way cooler.
