Words by the designer:
Ok, this is my 2nd try at this submitting thing. I knew i would get something wrong the 1st time, but anyway, hopefully all is now sorted :D
This shirt design “stems” from a conversation with my girlfriend, regarding my extreme dislike of vegetables…
Hope you like :)

Thankyou. Ill be dead honest, for me it was more just a “hey, lets try make a pretty picture” so i would definitely not suggest reading too much into it :P Most of my work is along that line, i tend to draw things i think would look cool, and not so much things that have a deeper hidden meaning. Personally i find it takes the fun out of drawing when i constanly try to “conceptualize” and place meaning into things. Its way more enjoybale just putting pencil to paper, drawing a pile of stuff, and seeing what i end up with. :D

Well executed, nicely conceptualised, there’s something that intrinsically doesn’t quite make sense – as in why would you say give “peace”/peas a chance if you’re holding an AK and going to war… but the alternative of having Ghandi peas is just plain boring :P So nevermind that, have my thumb up :)

Thanks guys. I was a bit sketcky at first about using text, but then i figured the whole idea might get lost if i didnt add it. I got a brainspark when i saw an old photo of US army Willis jeep. Managed to track down a pretty accurate font, and bob’s your uncle :D The colours do look a bit drab onscreen, i initially started with a white shirt, but considering the theme went with military green in the end. Hope i get a chance to see it in print ;)

Nice work Craig! That used to be my Dad’s favourite saying and my brothers worst. Champion execution and your final colour selection is superb.
