How do you draw a cute character? In my search to answer the question, I came across this little bit of scientific information that, if followed correctly may benefit all of us.

1 – Big Heads: in relation to the size of their body. Typically between two to three heads tall.

2 – Simple: Things like fingers, claws, and other details are left out.

3 – Rounded: Baby’s heads are typically rounder than adult heads, so a round head look makes it more baby-like, and non-threatening.

4 – Chunky: particularly in the tummy area, with short arms and legs that lack muscular definition, to once again make them look more baby-like.

5 – Large forehead, small mouth and nose, ears that stick out, and large eyes placed low on the face and set wide apart are other details that add to the cuteness.
