I know this isn’t as immediate, but I’ve always said that I like things that require a bit of work on the viewer’s part to figure out – and when I, as a viewer, do figure it out, the rewards are greater than if it was handed to you on a platter… That’s just my personal philosophy :)

I’m not really trying to outdo AV mouse, just had an idea and had to put it down on paper :)

Society kinda screwed up on this girl/boy thing – girls can wear boyish stuff but boys wearing girls stuff will get nailed – but that’s another matter altogether! I for one would wear this one if I get the chance to :)

Let’s see what happens! I’d love to hear what everyone thinks about this, whether they spot it without being hinted, etc etc :)

Maybe so, but if I checked this in a shop without an idea of what it was, MAYBE I’d make the connection, but only if I stood and thought for a bit. People more familiar with hello kitty might get it, and even though if I see hello kitty I know what she looks like and I know its Hello Kitty, I still wouldn’t have clicked immediately. AV MOUSE I thought was fantastic. No doubt in my mind what that was. Hey – I know. I think maybe if the red headphones were a little less saturated and fitted into the background like the rest of the piece, it’d make the whole seem a lot…wholer. That’s my take. Still, really well designed and I gotta admit pretty awesome that you can think up something like this…ipod into hello kitty. But I think you nailed it on your AV MOUSE and I’d be very surprised if you manage to follow that up. They’ll all be pretenders to the throne. This is also a little girlie.

Its hard but I think you almost go on a completely different tack once you’ve nailed something down. I could be wrong. In fact, there are no formulas to this thing.

If it doesn’t win here, I’d post it on emptees and get feedback, then sub to teefury or riptapparel, check what they tune.

Even without the connection, you have a real good aesthetic sense. Just looks really nice. Good colours, really nicely designed. So I can appreciate it from that point of view too.
