You know what is pathetic I had no idea that there was a pumba design done before if I had I wouldve never submitted it. So Integral you quite childish to carry on like this. I like your designs(they are autotraced)but its still cool. I was just showing you that fingers could be pointed back at you. Honestly I had no idea about the pumba thing

I think there may be a lot more at stake for Springleap than a couple of bruised egos if they, trusting us to submit original ideas, put someone else’s artwork onto their product and claim it as their own. They really are trusting that when we tick the Terms and Conditions box, stating that we have sole ownership of the designs submitted, that we are telling the truth. Integral, don’t stop submitting your designs – the medium does not decide whether one is an artist or not … whether you draw with a pencil, manipulate a computer mouse or use your wedding tackle to put paint on canvass, like Pricasso (ouch!), if someone thinks it’s art, then it’s art! None of us exists in a vacuum – we are influenced by design every day – sometimes we use elements deliberately, say, if we’re wanting a retro feel, and at others, we’re convinced the design just came together organically – but take a look at the media on which you’re feeding, and you’ll see that a lot of it will be regurgitated in your work. That’s just the way it is.

not only is the concept used, but its play off another companies logo, and if you can show what I “traced” and what other works I “copied” I would be glad to take my design off the website and give my votes to someone else. Whats even funnier is I am defending myself on my originality on thread that has “accidently” made a design thats out there on an easy google search, and basically used a major players logo in the shoe industry. I appreciate Eran and the people at springleap for my oppurtunity for entering the contest, and I am sure this will blow up in the next few months, but I didnt sign up for some silly kids fightin/ cussing and accusing me of blatant plagirism… So on that note, I don’t think I will enter the contest again, however I will not blame springleap for the negative vibe here, but as they say, a few bad apples can spoil the bunch.. Great site you guys got here and to some of the great artist, good luck.. To Jimmy and some of the others, I challenge you to show me an image of anymine that was “autotraced”. I bet you can’t type my designs into google and find another link like it…good luck though..

Dont worry what they say awesome design Ill buy three, You cant take any note of Integral he auto traces and is not original in anyway, because hes using artwork that exists and just autotraces them. So what if the concept has been used Ill buy it 5 for you

AUTOTRACING – enough already with the autotracing bitching! It’s a tool – use it. Not using it is like saying : hey, I am a lumberjack and I really like the authenticity of chopping down trees with my axe so I am not going to go out and buy the new advance Automatic Whopper Tree Lopper by Hedrix and Sons, which does the same job in 1/10th of the time. The originality OF CONCEPT and MATERIAL is what is important. Don’t autotrace other people’s work. That’s the rule.
