Title:
run like you stole something
Design by:

I tried for the classic, clean approach. In the background the bounding pink border comes forward to form an “S”, giving it almost a superhero feel. The colours are Springleap with the added yellow, to sprinkle on an hint of fun.

Well, Ducan, it is very irritating when one one spends allot of time on a design and someone says:” this is not what we said we wanted”. I didn’t realise that you personally did not want a logo for this compo and you where not speaking on behalf of springleap. Just make it clear next time. and ps: if Springleapers journey is considered a logo, then it have a very short life span. It’s a good design but a bad logo.

Indeed Styro the original copy does mention logo design. I was perhaps personally just hoping that it would not become too regimented around logos. The best example of what I mean is Tu’s Springleapers journey design…its a logo, but at the same time embodies aspects of the comp and takes the design further.

1st new design i’ve seen in a while for this compo. All that aside, I like the web one, made me like the design even more: its shiny and clean. although, Im a sucker for the distressed look… like i said before “hmmm…”

@duncan the brief quotes: “We know you have it in you to be the designer of the future Springleap logo” and “Keep it clean, and make sure that you design a logo that not only embodies the Springleap brand, but can also be used in a variety of different ways as any logo should.” what am I missing, do you want a logo or not. please be more clear in your brief before people waste more of their time on this

Yo styro. Not a bad logo here. Just remember that this theme is less a logo compo and more about design that are ‘inspired’ by Springleap.com
