Words by the designer:
I’m pretty sure everyone has seen those rad wooden Russian dolls that hide inside each other and when you unpack them they just keep coming!!!! So yeah i thought of those things and wondered how i could draw them in a different way… and added the subtle twist of how sneaky they really are…

Nice work buddy. If I may be a pain, the positioning’s a bit too high for me. I generally like a flat hand’s width space from the bottom of the neck line to the top of the design. That’s the general t-shirt printer’s ‘rule of thumb’ that I heard. Otherwise, wonderful colours, I’m a fan of yellow shirts. Don’t really dig the guy’s butt crack showing, but composition and concept and rocking. Lovely. May I ask a question about the colours – do you draw the whole design first, and then add an overlay layer with the shirt colour to get the muted tones in the shirt’s shade, or do you choose your colours and design straight out with them? I’m interested.
