I think you shirt has got something there, I personally wouldnt go for the actual graphic (the pic) however I got to say that whether you did this with a crayon or a hi-tech computer, does it matter. This website is about promoting designers and if you look at the word “designer” in th dictionary, no where does it say “a person who does not auto-trace”. I say whether you auto trace or filter or draw witha crayon….. it’s the design that counts. So I say, carry on with the way you create your design because to me, your’re a designer and your work is good…..just my thoughts!

I don’t know what autotrace is…. can someone educate me?

Its a photo i took i then painted over it in illustrator and still using the pen tablet i created a scratchy effect… sorry if you don’t like it, or if your against the whole auto trace thing (If what i’ve done is considered auto tracing) but that’s nt what the site is about. it is original, i haven’t and don’t think you or anybody will see a design like this anywhere unless someone has directly copyied this pic from this site…

It’s not about technique, it’s about product. something that people would wear. I think those who choose to auto trace may do so if they really want to. as long as the end prodie is something cool! just because someone is good at creating their art in a different form from what you create yours doesn’t mean that you should be mean or nasty to the artist or about their design.
Like the saying goes, if you got nothing to say don’t say anything at all…

If you see potential, rather give encouragement and try to uplift the artist with Helpful comments. Tips and maybe even ideas.

Happy Designing peoples and thanks so much for all the positive feed back!

I dont want to come across as sarcastic but is this autotraced? Honestly this business of autotracing has got to stop guys… This appears to me as it has been autotraced and a filter has been applied in photoshop or illustrator. Am I wrong? If so, I am sorry, but where is the originality?
