the warped barcode would be cooler if it warped properly like on a face (like clingwroap on a torture victim?? lol. a lot of my friends like this one, personally i find it a bit unclear.

Dude. Nice concept. Text sucks. I think springleap should have a CRITIQUE forum like threadless.com does where you can post your work for evaluation BEFORE submitting so that mistakes like this don’t happen. By then its too late. I also think you should lose the text in the barcode. The face is great, with just an unwarped barcode is superb. (Face colour’s a bit weird too. Kind of orangey). But I like the shape, the hair’s awesome. Looks like he’s just got outta bed.

I think the concept works cool the way it is but the wording around the face is totally extraneous. T-shirt design needs to be immediately impactful whilst the memory lasts and may elicit introspection later as well. BUT THE MAIN ELEMENT THAT SELLS T-SHIRTS IS THE INITIAL IMPACT so anything extra that dilutes the impact is contradictory to this goal. just the get a life. is perfect for this t-shirt design.

Agreed, lose the text and maybe move the design to the bottom so it ends low…it looks a bit arb when its cut off like that.
