Inspired by the band dark lyrics and eerie vocal sound I came up with an appropriately sombre image. I think the graphic is quite self explanitory. It depicts a dog or wolf howling at moon, enraged. The dog is Stepdog and the addition of the moon alludes to their E.P title “Amy after dark”. I feel the hand drawn image and rough pencil work suites folky edge of the band. The seperate layers are each seperate hand drawn images and their layering should make for striking silk screens.

Great design Hanno, the layer affect really works well. I feel that the design or logo just needs a bit more colour though as it has a lot of white open space, which could be a bit distracting. Maybe if you put some more shading into the moon or dirty the white up a bit? Maybe consider enlarging the logo a bit as well to give it a bit more attention and like Maike said maybe place it closer to the moon. I love the hand drawn feel and I think you nailed the eerie and sombre feel you where going for, over a great piece of art.

Amazing design!! Really well thought-out concept too. Love you you explain each element. I would like to see the logo slightly more prominent on this however, maybe so that it ends almost in line with the moon. @Madelein - what exactly are you finding difficult about the website? You do realise that this design is currently not for sale on this site, but only up for vote, right? Only the chosen winners get printed & put up for sale on this site, & those are all displayed in the shop page.
