You know, when I first saw this I could not believe it was designed by you. Hearing that it was a ‘tester’ of sorts makes it all much clearer. Your other designs are Awesome.

So yes, perhaps don’t submit just as a test :) Or maybe springleap could incorporate a ‘testing’ section?

And yes the 10 page debacle on ‘Jumper cables’ was quite sad. Hopefully the maturity levels will rise.

I was suprised about some of the comments, but when you put yourself out there, expect to get the worse. I do agree that constructive criticism is always better, but then again, some of these other design contests out there have even more of a mob mentality, and hate to see what they say…
You gotta get some thicker skin tho ANGEL..Or maybe re-think submitting something when your “testing the waters”..
I personally think the design is okay, can do without the drop shawdow and maybe just one “frisbee” and it would of had a different tone all together…
thats like a famous chef putting out a meal he knows might not work to the food network for a food competiion…Seems like your starting behind the 8ball..

DustyRich take a chill pill… this is the first design i ever did in Illustrator… and I was just testing the waters here this time around… infact I was being lazey by submitting it I will confess….. Sometimes I think these over the top NEGATIVE comments are quite unnecessary… This month was my first submission…maybe is should think again….??huh now before you think I am being all “Pity & Woe is me” Please take the time to read on and think a bit while you are reading!!

Luckily this Graphic was done like 5 years ago… as I say when i was learning Adobe…. and Lucking for me, I have moved up the food chain some what….so my feelings really aren’t shattered!!

But….What if I really put my heart and soul into this?? What if I really thought this was Amazing and I hoped everyone would love it…and that I would win, and be famous?? But now I get comments like this??
If You don’t like it you don’t like it… say so… or don’t… what ever…do it constructively….or have a sense of humour about it…. but don’t bring out your BAD MANNERS in a place that is supposed to INSPIRE!!

We are dealing with Artist here guys…if you don’t know that Art is Personal… then I think you should be an accountant… or something non-related….

It is this sense of bravery that people get when they are “anonymous” that gives the blogosphere a bad reputation.
I hope other New Young and Budding Springleap Designers aren’t turned away by unnecessary rude criticisms like this….we aren’t all like this!! I promise!!

I will make it my own personal endever to be a bit more constructive in my Opinions from now on… as I really don’t want people to think me Thoughtless, Rude or Self Righteous!! And I don’t want to crush the hope or dreams of a Young designer…maybe they are 12 or 14 years old… maybe they are under-privileged….maybe they are still learning…maybe they have been in a car accident and are using their left toe to draw…..You don’t know the designers Personal circumstances…but they have every right to Showcase their designs here!!

So don’t go calling things like this Pathetic!! U don’t know who you are talking to and I dont know you!!
