Haha! :) I see where you were going. I still feel like it lacks something. Maybe some movement? Maybe something coming out of the tank? Maybe some guys on the tank?

Clomo, to answer your question -I tried to create a contrast between the real and the illustrated. The tank is real; it’s a photo simplified into 6 basic colours. Then i just gace each of those colours a variation of a very simple pattern. I wanted the two to fight it out. to complicate to simple and to simplify the complicated. i must really stop drinking

I love the way you have separated the different tones of blue and pink and I love the hearts! I am a huge fan of repeat prints that are clean and simple. Why the Tank though? It feels static compared to the design. I think the tank needs some more work.
