Forest in my mind is a fantastic natural design that blurs the line between normality and true forward thinking design.
I asked Mollyjey a few questions about her brilliant winning design.
Duncs: What were you thinking when you first started the design?
Molly: Freedom.
Duncs: What was the original concept idea?
Molly: To represent the characters of my stories graphically, my paper sculptures are the place where I can relive my past experiences, memories and dreams.
Duncs: How long did it take you to complete your piece?
Molly: I don’t remember, maybe 3 days or so.
Duncs: Did any other artwork inspire you to create this?
Molly: Yes, my paper sculptures.
Duncs: Do you think this design reflects your state of mind from when it was created?
Molly: Yes, completely.
Duncs: Is this your normal style or an experiment?
Molly: Absolutely my style, but is an experiment because is my first project to t-shirt design.
Duncs: Who do you dedicate this design to?
Molly: Various’ everything, life itself, nature, dreams, desires, emotions, love.
Duncs: If you could change anything in this design what would it be?
Molly: Nothing.
Duncs: What kind of person do you see wearing this design?
Molly: Anyone, my grandmother wants one!.
Duncs: How can art save the world?
Molly: Through dreams.
