Interview with CraigM with CraigM by DuncanBoxie

CraigM came out of nowhere and won a Springleap.com competition with his very first design submission…and with quite the majority I might add.
This designer is sure to blow us away in a regularly powerful fashion.
Lets find out a little bit more about him shall we.

1. So tell me about where you grew up, have you lived there all your life or have you bounced around a lot?

Born in Durban, folks moved to Phalaborwa when i was 5, spent all of
my primary/highschool life there. Very small town, not much to do, but
i made some brilliant friends. Moved to Pretoria for my studies, and
finally i currently live in Johannesburg, mainly due to my job.

2. When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be and what would you say is your dream job now?

As a kid, i wanted to be a fighter pilot (:D), following that, i
wanted to study industrial design. Currently, im working a dream job,
for any illustrator. I would in future like to do more comic work, if
i work my butt off i reckon i could do a bit of work for Marvel at
some point.

3. Have you got a big family, how many?

Relatively small family of 4.

4. What is without doubt the best experience of your life?

Still waiting for it :) But, graduating and getting my 1st comic
commission are definitely right up there.

5. If you could have any super power what would it be?

Teleportation… i could do with a holiday in the Bahamas right about now…

6. If you could hang out with any star for a day who would it be?

Dame Judy Dench

7. What makes the world go round?

Peanut butter.

8. What makes you a better person than the average man on the street?

Errr… Im a snappy dresser?

9. What music are you listening to at the moment?

The new Lamb of God album, Wrath.

10. Do you think there is an afterlife, what kind do you expect to find?

Still a bit indecided on that topic… will let you know when i get there :D
