Robbielee is a designer with a sense of humor and also the ability to deliver beautifully constructed designs.
With a combination like that he was sure to walk away a winner.

1. So tell me about where you grew up, have you lived there all your life or have you bounced around a lot?

Born in Raleigh, NC and moved to Orlando, FL in 2000. I’m sorry that’s not funny or interesting.

2. When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be and what would you say is your dream job now?

No specific plans as a kid- I didn’t think I was talented enough to consider art as a career until I was 18 or so. Now my dream is to teach full-time and do art about 30 hours a week. And I’m livin’ the dream! But I’d still really like to get published as a children’s book illustrator.

3. Have you got a big family, how many?

Only one wife, 4 cats, and a fish. And a Roomba.

4. What is without doubt the best experience of your life?

Hasn’t happened yet but I cant wait! Although I did like marrying my wife a lot.

5. If you could have any super power what would it be?

I like wolverine’s claws and often pretend that I have them when I’m by myself in an elevator.

6. If you could hang out with any star for a day who would it be?

David Byrne. It would be really cool to play music or build a giant installation with him.

7. What makes the world go round?
A sense of purpose.

8. What makes you a better person than the average man on the street?

The fact that I’m not sure that I AM better than that average man. That’s what makes me better than him. Oh, wait…

9. What music are you listening to at the moment?

Calexico’s “Guero Canelo”

10. Do you think there is an afterlife, what kind do you expect to find?

Definitely, but I imagine I can’t even really conceive of it. Sorry.
