I went to a restaurant the other day and ordered a wrap like I always do, but instead of lettuce it came with a funky leafy vegetable called rocket! So I thought to myself, I wonder what a turtle would do if you gave it Rocket instead of Lettuce.

1. What were you thinking when you first started the design?
I was thinking “what am I thinking! a turtle and a rocket is just silly”
2. What was the original concept idea?
An amphibious reptile retro-fitted with the latest technology scared for its life
3. How long did it take you to complete your piece?
2-3 hours
4. Did any other artwork inspire you to create this?
Im often inspired by random concepts I see and I try fuse them together
5. Do you think this design reflects your state of mind from when it was created?
Ummm… It came from my mind, so I guess theres an element of truth to it.
6. Is this your normal style or an experiment?
Oh, I do this stuff all the time
7. Who do you dedicate this design to?
Oh cool, a free dedication, umm, this is dedicated to the kids who are hiding in the darkness waiting for the sun.
8. If you could change anything in this design what would it be?
I wouldn’t change anything, I’de start again on something better.
9. What kind of person do you see wearing this design?
Im not here to judge, but if they wear Crocs while they’ve got this shirt on i might start raging.
10. How can art save the world?
The only way art can save the world is if it motivates people to change their perception of why they’re in the world.
