Sacred Wild by BeeryMethod
I wanted to do a design that reflects beauty in nature. A deer whose antlers morph into tree limbs to reveal a leafy canopy above. With a colorful landscape of rolling mountains and speckled trees what nature lover wouldn’t adore this on any shirt. The words “Sacred is the Wild” lightly across the design it is sure to attract all ages. The wonderment of the wild is a tireless theme that can be used again and again.
Hope you like!
Sacred Wild design info with BeeryMethod by DuncanBoxie
Here is one of the most brilliant nature inspired designs I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful work.
1. What were you thinking when you first started the design?
When I started Sacred Wild I really wanted to do a piece for the nature lovers out there. Being in the Pacific Northwest USA you are surrounded by all of natures essence and beauty. It was necessary for me to do a design that reflected my sense of gratitude toward my environment.
2. What does this design make you feel?
This design makes me feel like I’m up on a mountain pass breathing the cleanest air and watching life through a very natural lens.
3. How long did it take you to complete your piece?
I came up with the concept in one of those mind flickering states right before I was falling asleep one night. I woke up the next day, got to work and later that afternoon it all came to fruition.
4. Did any other artwork inspire you to create this?
Usually I have some frame of reference for inspiration, but since this was conceptualized in a dream-like state I suppose it could be a number of inspirations that were collected in my deep subconscious over time and then released without specific knowledge.
5. Do you think this design reflects your state of mind from when it was created?
This design came out just as I had envisioned it and since I had been hiking the Cascades that week it definitely reflected my lingering senses of the mountains.
6. Is this your normal style or an experiment?
This is by no means my usual style. I actually tend to work in many different styles and variations. It was a little bit of an experiment in the actual vector process when working on it but I also followed some very basic methods I always use when designing…that’s the BeeryMethod!
7. Who do you dedicate this design to?
I dedicate this design to my two brothers. They both, like myself, enjoy nature’s wonderment and the gift of our Mother Earth to the fullest.
8. If you could change anything in this design what would it be?
If I could change anything on Sacred Wild it would be nothing.
9. What kind of person do you see wearing this design?
I see anyone who appreciates wildlife and the countryside wearing this design.10. If you could pick any artist to recreate this piece for you who would it be?
10. If you could pick any artist to recreate this piece for you who would it be?
If I could pick an artist to recreate this piece for me it would be Ron English in either an extreme oil painting or recreated as a 3-D sculpture. He can put a sweet twist all his own on anything.
