I don’t want to wax philosophical about the design. Let me just say that I came up with it on the spur of the moment™ and just had a bit of fun.

This design really sent all the techies wild, especially the iPod and Mac owners…for obvious reasons.
This design is clever and original compared to all the iPod inspired designs out there.

1. What were you thinking when you first started the design?
“Let’s see what I can come up with”
What was the original concept idea?
I thought people who would buy Springleap shirts value their
individuality

2. How long did it take you to complete your piece?
A couple of days.

3. Did any other artwork inspire you to create this?
I googled for a photo of the pea-pod, I confess :-)

4. Do you think this design reflects your state of mind from when it
was created?
Definitely – I think it was late at night too.

5. Is this your normal style or an experiment?
I don’t design for a living, but the couple of times I’ve dabbled, I
tend to do off-beat stuff with multi-layered meanings..

6. Who do you dedicate this design to?
Springleap :-)

7. If you could change anything in this design what would it be?
Having seen the shirt in “real life”, the large block of solid colour
bothers me – I’d make the whole design smaller and maybe use the
shirt’s color instead to get the same effect.
