Hey Duncanboxie…..reason for the lines is to give that old crappy PC screen flicker and the dots are representing Pacman game. It won’t appeal to all, but I kinda like it coz it draws my eye and confuses it meaning i have to look at it again to focus…so guess a sort of a marketing ploy as well…lol.
