doesn’t stand out against the other top competitors this round… and the way you handle criticism makes my vote deviate to the lower end of the scale…

The Art of Bonsai Aug 18th 2011, 07:34 talk_t

nice, dude! i love the bonsai! looks great! the only thing that bothers me a bit is the fact that you put highlights on what is supposed to be a shadow? it makes it look like a liquid or other glossy substance..

great illy tho, loving your work! :)

Gradient... Aug 18th 2011, 07:34 peeps

Well i don’t think a gradient can physically be printed. I think it can only be simulated/mimicked with the use of halftones, but very very fine halftones. Then u have to hope that the screens can support that kind of detail.

The best kind of print for these kind of things would be a 4 color process print i presume, but then again it would only yield the best results when printed on a white tee.
And once again your printers have to support that kind of print.

Im also interested to know what springleap’s printers are capable of?

Thanks alot Tokyo! glad u like it! :)
yeah i was going for a old kind of look. and i was also just thinking that i should of added a distressed feel to the image.
But i think it would look great when printed on a garment! Thanks for the support! :)

Hey Kaisersoze! thanks for the support man! :)
