Sorry but you seem to be slightly misinformed… you could probably Google the terms ‘revolution’ and ‘fist’ and end up finding many designs which are remarkably similar because of the simple fact that the raised fist is not an original idea… it is a symbol which has gained meaning over many years of use, it is a SYMBOL OF REVOLUTION, DEFIANCE & UNITY. Up till now I have never even heard of Revolution Records and I would never take credit for someone else’s work. The fact that they look similar is because there are only so many ways you can draw a fist and we obviously thought along the same lines. This symbol is used by sporting teams, political parties and people facing oppression all over the world. I used the idea of the fist because I thought it was a recognizable symbol with which people could easily identify.. it was just supposed to show the AMD REVOLUTION!!!

I honestly feel everyone is being so anal about this!!! How dare you say you can’t use an idea which has been used before??? Revolution is not something new??? Would you like every single author there ever was to print their books on different mediums just because someone decided to use paper first??? Should every single movie fit into its own, individually packaged, squeaky clean genre??? People like things that are relatable, people like things which make sense!!! I honestly swear I drew this fist with help from my brother on my tablet last month…I would never be stupid enough to rip people’s stuff off??? This really makes me angry! I don’t understand why people couldn’t just happen to have a similar idea…is it that hard to believe? I’ve been entering all original designs on this site for a while now.. why would I just go off and start ripping people’s stuff off???

And by the way, this isn’t the way my fist looked originally, it had rounded edges and everything… didn’t look anything like it, but for this design I decided it needed harder edges, etc and that’s the reason it came out like it did! Geees

Originally this way just supposed to be a subtle hint at what the design actually was, but when everyone started criticizing the soft lines I decided to make it more striking for the AMD competition.

The idea for this design was simply to make the image of the fist as striking as possible, I used a fist because of its reference to power…this type of design has always been used in propaganda posters and such to show power to the people and so I thought the historic reference was perfect since that’s what AMD gives its customers…power.

Is there any way the name of a design can be changed after it’s been submitted??? I accidentally put a typo in the one design’s title and it drives me crazy every time I think about how stupid a mistake it is to make!!!
