kinda reminds me of a school shirt, with the whole crest appearance and placement.

Cyber dragon Aug 18th 2011, 07:34 talk_t

Really dig the colour detail, if the whole thing was like that it’d be SICK…i think the sketched bits bring it down alot

Wacom tablet - Aug 18th 2011, 07:34 peeps

yeah i have used a a6 tablet before (bamboo small) and there is nothing wrong with it. the new models are rad. currently using a medium and it is much better and alot closer to the feel of sketching if that makes sense. not sure where yr from but in sa there is only about a 500rand difference between the small and medium(if yr even looking at bamboo models)but like you say, theres a budget so go for the a6….

2d buanie vs 3d Aug 18th 2011, 07:34 talk_t

Thanks everyone for the good comments.
mik the whole hand/four finger spacing is pretty standard yeah. i just didn’t want it THAT LOW, the print is more detailed at the bottom really. lifting it up puts the detail more on the chest. just didn’t wanna use the semicircle as a top point. yeah it is the top of the print. but not supposed to be the top focal point. haha hope that explains stuff.
the answer to your question is… i design all my shirts in AI . and use the pantone swatches. saves a lot of time trying to match up pantones later. I think the muted tones are cos i hardly ever use black for my lines. with lighter lines, bright colours are just way too harsh. and i usually only decide on colours right at the end.
