Thanks for the comments guys. @CathRon, I agree they are over powering but it all depends. Besides the nice attribute of the design is that there is space to make the logo bigger without disturbing the artwork too much.
This is very cool, love the use of colour in a different way. The dog is a nice touch but could use a hint of more intimidation.
