damn man, this is also amazing. some slight things – the curve on the shadow of the speech bubble could be more rounded, only notice it when you view it larger though. Maybe also with the dark shadow on the bottom of the board, looks a little too close to the bottome on the left.
Apart from that minor constructive crit, cowabunga, radical dude :D
Thanks for the comments already! I think having only the bottom ground bit in a border, and leaving the clouds floating in mid-air is a very nice suggestion, thanks! I’m not sure if I can change the design now that it’s submitted (I’m new here…)
I wanted it in a frame from the beginning though… and actually like the boxyness of it. I’d maybe move it down a bit on the shirt now that I think about it.
Ja, I’m not sure on the text either, but the lines and shape of the tree are very pleasing to the eye. The text almost fades to a solid block when zoomed out… not sure it works well with the texture of the tree trunk and branches (which I think are awesome).
I always hated it when I was a kid and I let my balloon go by mistake :( My parents calmed me down by saying my grandad would fetch me them when my grandparents visit from overseas… so I always had an idea of this big collection of balloons in the clouds that you’d be able to see when flying :D
Nice expression on the balloon, I’d leave a gap between the eyes to make them more separated to stand out more.. like moving the one on the right more right, and maybe the pupils as if they’re looking at something flying towards them? Use it, dont use it… :)
I did my design using Inkscape because I wanted to do vector graphics, since they scale perfectly.. and I don’t have Illustrator, and well, Inkscape is very cost friendly alternative ;)
I found it quite nice to use for simple stuff. I’m very new to vector graphics, usually just do normal rasterized stuff in plain old Photoshop 7 [psh, who needs CS3… :( ]or GIMP.
The version I have allows for saving to (to name a few) SVG, PS, EPS, and XAML (I think I hear a yay from .NET geeks on that last one…), so I’m pretty sure it’s compatible with Photoshop/Illustrator… I’d be VERY surprised if they didn’t support at least one :)
There’s also an open source 3D tool called blender – people probably heard about that – and an open source animation program I heard of recently called Pencil that other hobbyists might want to try out without shelling out lots o cash :)
awesome, if it was still running woulda got a 5/5 from me

Very cool design, so simple but very expressive
the colours make me think of bubblegum
She looks innocent and sweet, but is she really..? oh deery me…?
I love the colours and the shapes of the horns and the grassy ‘cloud’, very clean design.
I can almost see a follow-up to this in my mind, with a parent monster shaking their finger, frowning in disapprovement :D
This could be worn by a kid, and the above by their parent(s) :D haha, very cool

I suddenly have an urge for sour worms

Practise safe lunch, use a condiment.
Not really my style of shirt… however, I think it’d look cool if you made the bangle/armband black, and made the lines on the right leg thinner?
haha, I agree with Eric… ever play paratrooper? :D
I laughed :D
Then I thought, but, she’s not lying down is she?
I agree with the comments about losing the text completely.
Or also maybe trying just “LE en GO!”…
very nice concept… not sure about the cigar(ette) though
