Alright! Thanks for the votes, everyone! This printing is especially sweet because a)there were lots of terrific designs this time around and b)the BADminton design is one of my all-time favorites. I can’t wait to see it in print.
Yes! Great design. I would somehow shift it a little to the right in the shirt comp if you can- it feels a little unbalanced. Still, beautiful illustration. Clean yet intricate.
Great illo, but right now it sort of looks like the design isn’t integrated with the shirt color. I wonder what it looks like if you replaced all the black parts (lines, shadow, etc.) with a darker version of the shirt color- in this case maybe a medium or slightly dark blue.
Still, it’s a great drawing. I love the angle, too.
I agree with TheBrigand about splitting up text bubbles- it undercuts the message BUT I think it works well with this design since this design uses the images so playfully Great job! POWE R UP!!!!
Cool design- I really like the way you did the wind. Great composition, too: the overall shape of the design seems very organic- also, it’s asymmetrical but still balanced- nice work!
this design is pretty bad-ass. At first, I was ambivalent- I both liked it a lot and thought it was awful. I somehow ended up giving it a 4, but now it’s really grown on me, and I wish I could take it back and give it a 5!!!! Great colors, too, btw.
Thanks so much for the votes and kind words, folks. Thanks Springleap!
I wish I could think of more to type, but all I can come up with is woo-hoo, dang, alriiiight, etc. So I’ll be back whenl I can compose something pithier and worthier of the Springleap November honor. In the meantime,
Wowee Zowee. Sweeeet design, but i have the feeling I don’t get the references.
Oh- sorry! I just read the artist’s description. (Springleap- can you enable comment editing?) Still, great epic design!
Cool story here! Great colors, as usual, too! 5

Thanks, Springleap!

Dang- that’s a great illo! Very, very well done and deserving of the print.
Way to go, Boots! This is very well drawn- the body language of the kid is perfect. Congrats on the great win!

Damn- that’s pretty sweet. Very well done! And I lie the way it’s interwoven through the logo.
