Time for MUSIC OVERLOAD!

There are few events in the music industry that brings the world together quite like the Grammy Awards. Every year the best of the best battle it out for their respective Grammy title and the winners walk away with bragging rights of the highest order.

If you get your hands on one of these awesome golden gramophones it’s a sign that your career is well and truly….well, golden!

The nominations for next year’s 54^th Grammy Awards 2012 have just been released and I’m super stoked to see that tons of my favourite artists are up for nomination.

The leader of the Grammy Pack is Kanye West who has been nominated for 7 awards. Following closely on his heels is Foo Fighter (yay), Bruno Mars and Adele, who each have 6 in hand. Skrillex and Lil Wayne trail with 5 Grammy nominations each.  While Kanye may be sitting pretty with 7 nominations, the proof is in the proverbial ‘pudding’ and who knows how many he will actually leave with. Personally I am a massive Foo Fighers fan and I hope they kick some serious butt and walk away with the most actual wins! They can do it ;)

The 54^th Grammy Awards 2012 may only be next year on 12 February, but time flies and soon enough the hype will be well and truly underway. Then it will be all about the fashion, the fails, the controversies and the LEGENDS!!!
