Just recently I have been on quite a push to highlight the merit of minimal design…or as I may have incorrectly named it “simple design”.

Goodness gracious, maybe I’m asking for serious trouble when I refer to any form of design as simple. I know feel that it has a bit of pejorative ring to it! So from now and on I will refer to this as ‘minimal design’, which is perhaps a bit of a safer term. I don’t want any designers rushing the Springleap HQ with baseball bats screaming “who’s designs are simple????” ;)

My latest offering of minimal design might, comes from a designer named Blo0p!
I saw his designs a few days back and just had to share. I’m a huge comic book fan, so to see all my favourite heroes and villains recreated in minimal design excellence.

This talented design student hailing from the United States has really outdone himself here.
His well executed, mostly symmetrical, work has a style which is clean, but still exudes an explosive  impact.

Also, it’s not like he did just 1 or 2 of these minimal superhero designs, he did like 40 of them!!!!
That is seriously crazy.
I’m supposing it’s at this point where the minimal design ‘haters’ are going to step out and say, “who cares, they are mega quick to do”.
However, every single design captures the personality and energy of these well known comic book characters.

Just how amazing would these look on t-shirts? Honestly if these were printed I would have to get my hands on all of them!

Favourites? Hmmmm, that is a difficult question indeed….they all rock!
