That thought also vaguely crossed my mind. Maybe sky blue would be cool. Not a big fan of gore. I dig suspense movies where you don’t really SEE the baddie/monster/alien but its implied. Your brain fills in the gaps.

I do dig the fact that there is no gore here – it really makes the shirt far cooler and more weird – the implication is best. Take Texas Chainsaw Massacre – what made that move a huge cinematic success and comment was the implication of death/gore/dismemberment – at no stage was there any gore or cutting actually shown. Totally implied. Totally effective.

Hmmm… not sure I agree with u there – on the colour issue – in fact I think that Ocean Blue or Sky Blue – an even MORE subdued colour that is – would have been better to give it that “hey-that’s-pretty-cute-but somehow-rather-disturbing” t-shirt feel :P

Ya, blue is kind of a cool, passive colour and for me doesn’t fit in with the mood of the illo, otherwise its just too passive. I’d like a little more ‘oomph’ and I think red would do the trick. Grey and blue look miff to me. Maybe its because I’m reminded of grotty work matrics did with grey and blue paint together, but these tones miff me out. I like the design though. S’naice, I look forward to seeing more from you. Nice ears on the bun. Oh, for a full body bunny suit. But ya. Its the shirt colour that doesn’t fit for me. Needs something opposing. (if I HAD to crit the design I’d say the hand doesn’t really hold a chainsaw like that, needs to be behind the box part, or below on a handle. But I dig the silhouette shape of the design overall and the size relations of the parts, placement on the shirt nice, bunny’s ears and eyes very nice, legs nice, dude’s eyes hmm…I always like eyes the same size, chainsaw could have some round bits inside the actual metal oval part, whatever you call that thing the chain rotates around, and maybe red for the box part. I understand that you kind of click through the shirt colours and one stands out, but you don’t have to be non-offensive and find something that kind of agrees with you. Sometimes a l’il planning goes a long way and some thought behind WHY this and WHY that. Even though I shudder to think why this dude would have a bunny suit and a chainsaw. Incidentally there was a comic in a local comix mag CLOCKWORX about a guy in a bunny suit who had human remains strewn all across his flat. Pretty miff and disturbing, so maybe there’s something in the universal consciousness about guy’s getting dressed up in a bunny suit and going a bit psycho. So, to summarize, I think a red shirt would make the piccie JUMP out and have more impact instead of kind of fading away. My little blah. Peace.

On a red shirt the design would come across a bit harsh, I chose this colour after looking at how the design looked with each of the allowed colours.. This colour just seemed more attractive to me…
