Recently I was given a Sony Ericsson Satio cellphone to test with a whopper 12.1 Megapixel camera in it. WOW!

I had the opportunity to really give it a workout recently when I had a chance encounter at Camps Bay, Cape Town, driving along with Mehul of the Springleap team.

We came around the bend and stopped here.

Lo and behold our good friend Wayne Lee Ellis – also a Springleap Brand Ambassador of VJ and DJ group Afterlife – was shooting some footage there on this magic day! AWESOME!

I took full advantage of the situation and started snapping away.

First I used the normal photo mode and took a few pics like this one.

With Lion’s Head in the background I got this classic shot of Wayne in.

I quickly turned my attention to Mehul and snapped a great shot of him offset against the splendor of Camps Bay sprawled in front of us.

I was pretty BLOWN AWAY by the Satio’s amazing camera – Sony Ericsson really have a winner here – best camera I have seen to date on a mobile phone by far!

Then I discovered…. the PANORAMA feature – yep this baby shoots panoramic photos… Check it out!

Pretty freakin AWESOME!
