Hey guys ;) As usual – the springleap team have heard the pleas, words and cries that we value over any other – those of our awesome community. We have chatted to Dusty and Dusty will be taking a featured artist slot in the next few coming months.

We remind everyone than if you are South African or you know somebody who you feel would fit the bill, please come forth or nominate them.

The criteria :

1. South African Artists ONLY for this section (IntegralApparel, Warholbot and others – time to emigrate to SA ;) )
2. We work with the artist from Day 1 – checking to see that the design is heading in the right direction – the brief is as follows : you have to make a shirt that literally is so good as a sell-able t-shirt design that it MENTORS other people who see it.
3. You need to be chosen or you can apply.
4. You go STRAIGHT to print
5. You must enter a design into the normal monthly competition in the same month that you do your featured artist segment.

What’s in it for the featured artist :

1. R1000
2. min R2 per shirt sold or anything we reproduce the design on for commercial benefit – this could include anything from t-shirts to hoodies to beach blankets (we have HUGE plans for future products that will put cash into the designer’s pockets)
3. Massive exposure – both on our website and offline to the value of R45000
4. 3 t-shirts of your choice from that month.
5. sponsored prizes (if there are ones available that month)
