I think most people are mislead with regards to other countries and that we just have to accept people’s lack of knowledge and not just immediately deem them ignorant because what they find out about other countries is in their tv/internet – the easiest & most accessible sources of info about the world and the news of the world. I mean there are probably STILL tons of people believing that we have lions as pets and that we use elephants to go to pluck our food from the farm fields. Plus! It’s just a t-shirt, not a world broadcasted statement. Let’s be more light-hearted here people!

no, that’s not “american” that’s just a few select people types in a few select states in america, notably across the south, but white trash (black trash and all in between) is not reserved to one region, although many are in the south. this is actually a naive representation of america. this represents the GWB america (which really only partially exists). the America other countries write about. it isn’t exactly like that though. i mean, i lived in italy and holland and i remember gypsies and low class street people…but i do not think italy is all gypsies, nor holland all low class street people.
