A little irritation has risen on the site lately. Enter scotty.

I like to think I have contributed to Springleap a lot. I have desinged, commented and actually bought some tees. Scotty, whom I have affectionately dubbed Kumquat, has come barging in, mouth yapping and throwing negative comments to all who oppose his narrow minded views.

I take critisim quite well, but what bugs me is that scotty has no work of his own for us to view and crit. If you know so much about design, let us see what you can do. This is where my challenge comes in.

Scotty, I challenge you to a duel! We’ll do it the way you want, no stock, 100% original works only. If you win, I will never submit any work to Springleap that contains stock vectors. If I win, you will try be more constructive in your crit of other peoples work and leave the stock vector issue out of it. Basically, stop being a Kumquat and start contributing positively.

Scotty’s gonna run away from this challenge. I’ll be seriously impressed if he stays true to his word. Without a time constraint this will never get done. I propose they have to enter before the 27th December, theme: ‘Art of War’.

Nice one. Thanks for putting me in my place. Scotty my bro, you accepted the challenge, least you could do is put a couple hours into a design. It won’t take you days and days, not like how long it took me to do Infinity. That took me a LONG time. Anyway, just put a couple hours aside one day and hook the art of war challenge, Googleboy can do the same, it’s still a while till New Years and I’m sure you’d be able to refrain from your swearing for an hour or two to put a piece together.
