last tree

well, its a illustration of a b/w photo in a frame. in the “photo” is a girl hugging a tree telling it its going to get cut. she’s wearing a heart medallion cut from the tree, the frame has the heart cut out, this implies its from the same tree. its meant to be a commentary on how man has veered away from sentimental attachments to nature and uses it now as a vehicle for excess. i like the irony.

I enjoy the designs positioning on the shirt! Overall very cool.

i really like this! but the yellow clashes a bit too much with the greys and brown. maybe make it in a lightish blue or something? 5 otherwise

Ha! You said kombi. Very gothic and yet so bright. Groovy, baby.

This is beautiful yet sad design, I know a kombi full of hippies that would dig this shirt.

I srtuggle to know quite what to say for this shirt, its so effective and beautifully done. my only nit pick is that i’d prefer foir her to be thinking the ax picture. I think I might well buy this if its made.

sweet concept. i wouldn’t call myself a ‘designer’ snob or a pleb – i look at ideas and concepts behind images and symbols. your explanation of the t-shirt matches the irony of the design perfectly. no, i wouldn’t wear it (i look like a sausage wrapped in greay paper in yellow) but i would buy it for someone else. thumb Way up

I really dig this and could see myself wearing it from the moment it popped on my screen.. I’d even go as far as to ask for the very first print please…
I need more of this please??? the deep concept and sick illy is amazing!

Keep LEAP-ing!

From a design and thought provoking angle its good. I mean, its got Sabre practicing his state of the nation speech.

From an personal taste view, I don’t think I’d wear it.

i like it! it’s fascinating – i see 2 types of people commenting on the tshirts.

1. the designers who look at the design and decide whether they like it or not, and…

2. plebs like me who look at the designs purely from a “first impression” verdict of do i like it or not

usually for me it’s by the combination of background colour and whether the design sticks out for me and whether i can see myself wearing it. only if that passes the test, then i look at the design more closely to see if there is something I DON’T like with the design

this one i like
