reminds me of one of the previous springleap winners – bamboozle

oh niiiiice, it’s nice to see a fellow mecha-lover!!! (well, maybe I’m just assuming now :P)

I love the illustration, but it doesn’t fit very well in the big format of the tee – it’s quite right-heavy, but not too much, so it’s kiiiinda uncomfortable sitting like that. And I think the shadows (esp lower ones) should be just as detailed instead of having gone the blobby route. I really like how the nozzle flare is arranged in 3D and are different on either side. Was this based off the matrix bots? Was there reference? I would love to see where it came from! Like I said I love bots :)

But don’t get me wrong, it IS a great illustration, and I don’t crit stuff unless I think it’s worth critting :)

Hmmm looks like the mech from Matrix…well with a lid that is.
Metal Militia is up there as one of my best Metallica songs as well ;)
