Outer space here we come! With the return of Star Trek info and the rise of all things spaced out, fashion trends today tend to be leaning toward science fiction inspired art more than ever! Designers such as Peter Pilotto are designing ranges purely influenced by images of outer space.
Iv’e been fascinated by the wonders of the universe forever and have been waiting for the day that wearing something shiny, silver and spaced out would be cool fashion! I’m so ready to strap on my space helmet in the rain! Imagine if we all walked around wearing space boots and galactic printed tights! Anybody involved in the world of art in fashion now has the opportunity of reaching for the stars for inspiration! I think this is the coolest fashion I’ve seen since I was born. YES, it really grabs my attention! What do you think of it? Thanx to technologies such as digital printing, companies and fashion houses now have the tools to print directly onto fabric from digital images. Can you imagine printing THIS on a t-shirt???
It would totally BLOW MY MIND if I had the chance to buy a t-shirt with that printed on it. Its an all round winner for me with those beautiful colours and natural twist. AMAZING! I love sci-fi wear! Design is changing in so many ways. So t-shirt designers, I hope you’re taking note of what’s hot and what’s not. I reacon a sci-fi design would kick but on Springleap.com. The great thing about taking part in our t-shirt competition is that you can submit a design every two weeks and find the style that you see works best. I’m rooting for more sci-fi designs. Please make me proud! Oh, and E.T.says he’s in need of a better T-shirt than this…(hehe)
What do you think would look good on him? What are your views on sci-fi fashion? Peace |

That galaxy design is breathtaking! I’m sure that with the technology that we have today we can do something like that. Can’t you use foil iron ons or something? It won’t be as perfect as the original but it will still be pretty awesome with all that stunning colour! I want THAT t-shirt! So when it comes out on black… I’ll be the first in line to order it!
