Cape TownSpringleap.com has undergone a complete transformation with the commitment and amazing skills of their design team, the company launched its new edgy and sleek website look in August 2010. Springleap.com is heading towards a more mature direction that will take the brand to the next level.

Business Development Director of Springleap.com, Eran Eyal, says, “We spent a lot of time gathering input from our community and consulting with experts and our extraordinary new design team – headed by Dylan Jones – to come up with a multi-phased approach to the redesign of Springleap.com”

The first phase is almost complete and offers a cleaner and more mature look, whilst creating the space to offer more exposure for designers and allow Springleap.com to explore new partnership possibilities. Their intention is to make the website more functional and have a greater emphasis on the designers themselves – one new feature is the ‘I’m on Springleap’ box on the homepage, which randomly displays the profile of a previous winner. This will give winning designers greater exposure, which will in essence improve their chances of being approached with new monetizing offers. Springleap.com now offers premium space on the website, which is currently taken by One Small Seed and Between10and5 with whom they have a growing media partnership.

The final step in phase one is to overhaul the functionality of the website, in order to ensure smoother utilization for their designers and general community.

The second phase will see the header bar being replaced with exciting dynamic content and the removal of Flash in order to make the site totally compatible with mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones. Springleap.com will also receive its own much anticipated search bar for greater usability and a smoother experience.

Phase three will begin in the next few months and will revitalize even more sections. Springleap.com will also be announcing even more amazing new opportunities that have been in development for almost a year.

Taking crowdsourcing to a new level, Springleap.com used the community’s feedback and support by incorporating it into the new look that launched. This concept illustrates the company’s commitment and interest of their community.

If you have not seen the new Springleap.com website, please have a look at it and give your feedback.
