As you know our Enviro Mental theme competition is in full swing! The t-shirts are talking! The theme aims to inspire designers and everybody else, ultimately creating environmental awareness.

Another great organisation that it doing just that, is WWF. With their Earth Hour project, they’re raising awareness about climate change issues that we are already experiencing. Since being launched globally in 2007, Earth Hour has gained worldwide support from 154 countries. That’s amazing!

We as citizens of Planet Earth only have five years before drastic climate changes become inevitable. Scary right?

Well, if that’s not enough to make you jump out of your boots then I don’t know what is.

We at Springleap.com are super excited about being part of this global movement and look forward to taking part in the historical Earth Hour event on 16 December 2009.
