Submissions and approvals

Hi,

Some noob questions here. If anyone can answer, please do so.

I have uploaded two designs for next months comp.
The one was approved within a day. The other is still pending approval.

How long does it usually take to get designs approved?
Will I be notified and given a reason if a design is not approved so I can make changes or upload a new design?

Thanks for replying guys! The waiting drives me crazy, lol!

Eran mailed me the following regarding approvals:

“Thanks for the submission at springleap – the process of approval takes a bit longer these days as we are trying to be more stringent and there are more approval checks in place to keep the quality of design up.”

Guess I’ll work on some more designs to keep me busy :)

Thanks for submitting,firstly.

We are constantly approving designs as quickly as possible. More recently we have instituted quite a few new checks – that coupled with our team being spread pretty thin doing so much right now, means that sometimes a design takes longer to approve.

We are also not in the habit of just rejecting designs so we discuss everything quite in depth first and very often consult with our printers to make sure we are making the best decisions :)

Remember – you can upload up to 5 designs a month. You don’t have to wait for one to be approved before uploading another.

I actually thought I had already responded to this thread…i think i need coffee.

In general the springleap team takes a lil while (a day or so) to approve designs…recently thats been a bit longer but I think its due to some team meeting or convention that they attended…not sure.

When a design is rejected there is always a reason attached.
If you aren’t happy with the reason, you can always email springleap..they tend to get back to you really fast, and are pretty decent about it too.
