Hi there VickyLee.

We all make mistakes and you have been with us for a long time, so will def give you the benefit of the doubt.
I will drop you an email to discuss further :)

Thanks to the community for getting involved, but at the same time not being overly aggressive in their comments.

Special thanks to Kharmazero for his wise level-headed response!

this sort of thing seems to be happening quite a bit recently…at least this period and last…

Jeez, strange that both images you found were of threadless!
and the other designs that u mention that were original parodies off existing characters (as Sebasebi explained), except for “whos your daddy” Ive seen that concept before, but at least the artwork was original! Apologies accepted, but don’t go accuse others of being unoriginal

ok i didn’t see there was a second one. You’re not a monster, don’t mix things. There is a difference between beeing inspired by someone’s work and copying it.Obviously this is the second case. You can use internet as a source , after all this is like a big opened library, and i use it too.For example if i need a whale for a design i will go on internet to find a photo, but i won’t use the photo itself to create my piece.I did some pieces inspired by painters too like Munch and Matisse, but i ddn’t copy the paintings, iwas inspired by it.

In this case and the other one too, you ripped the concept and even the execution, and sorry you lowered it too. Also even if the drawings you was “inspired by” were not printed tshirts, it’s the same, just don’t use other people works and claim it as yours. You’ve got visibly some skills so use it the right way…Designers are very touchy about this.

Ok! I am not a monster that everyone is portraying me to be. All apologies. I found a blog that posted peoples favorite images. I liked those images and started playing with the images. I did not know that they were already t-shirts. If I knew this they wouldn’t have been used. Springleap has the right to take them off and by all means it’s ok with me. It is a fault I made to use the internet as inspiration. But I do not think anyone would want to hear my side as clearly everyone is using me as a negative target.

I think the difference is that these examples are parodies of characters created, and give them another meaning to something known.
Here you have copied the idea and concept. Nothing is original.

Can’t say that the following t-shirts also came from something that was already created for inspiration.

Well Who’s Your Daddy Looks like the original image to me.
