Last night at around 8pm a fire started.

It has now managed to decimate half the mountain. Caused evacuations, road closures and sever injuries. And it could have been avoided.

There is a layer of ash on all my furniture, and one of my colleagues spent all of last night making sure his house didn’t burn down.

So to all you morons throwing stompies out of your car windows, if i see you i will personally come and throw it back onto your leather seats. If you are braai-ing on the mountain i will personally come hose it down. You idiots don’t realise the amount of hurt you cause.

I do know that this particular fire was probably caused by a homeless person trying to keep warm. But if it is proved to have been caused by a stupid tourist like last time, well I hope they keep that person locked up in a South African cell for many years.
