I like the self deprecating humor of this. At first glance it might seem like a kid’s tee, but when worn by someone more grown up, I think it’s pretty funny. “I know I don’t rock… yet.”

We all dream of being extra special. Sometimes when you are young, you just KNOW you will rock!

1. What were you thinking when you first started the design?
“I’d like to make a shirt that says “Someday I Will Rock”

2. What does this design make you feel?
It amuses me. I like self deprecating humor.

3. How long did it take you to complete your piece?
I can’t really remember. Probably a day or two.

4. Did any other artwork inspire you to create this?
I saw a photo of a kid with goggles sitting on something, looking like he was pretending he was going really fast. It was cute.

5. Do you think this design reflects your state of mind from when it was created?
Not really. Like I said, I always like that kind of humor though.

6. Is this your normal style or an experiment?
My normal style usually has much more detail and I never do “slogan” tees like this one kind of is.

7. Who do you dedicate this design to?
Ahhh… I can’t think of anyone.

8. If you could change anything in this design what would it be?
I’d make it on a navy colored shirt.

9. What kind of person do you see wearing this design?
Anyone who shares my sense of humor.

10. If you could pick any artist to recreate this piece for you who would it be?
Salvidor Dali, maybe. It would be nice to see it all melted. Or maybe with a long-legged scary rocking horse. Wait. I’ve changed my mind. Definitely Mark Ryden. I like creepy things.
