This was a print I had re-invented from an older design I had done.

Always wanted to re-visit it and make it better.

Its a dedication to all the crazed kamakazee pilots. Another trashy piece.

Having had my own clothing label…I always try design prints that’ll be catchy to the eye..and I think this would make a cool placement print!

I LOVE this. Just bought it. Awesome work

Gotta agree that the text at the top spoils it for me too. Great colour combo though, nice composition too. Looks like a movie poster or something. I also like the stippling and halftone effect on the black. Great work there. But your name at the top…I wouldn’t want to wear it because of that.

In the past two years I’ve travelled to several different places and noticed that life has a myriad of potential paths that often intertwine and leave impressions on our subconscious.

Relationships and love form similar pathways in one’s heart and mind, always trying to preserve memories and make new ones at the same time.

My illustration shows how the feelings of love and loss might emanate form a woman - how a change of season (or Spring, as we’re experiencing in S.A.) can encourage a renewal of the heart.

it’s such a great design especially as one understands the “canvas of the circumstances on which you painted your idea.” The only thing which does not do the design justice is the explanation of it.

The “block design”, if understood correctly by your intentions, works its magic perfectly in the art. The pathways represent a ‘still growing’ concept; one in continual change and thus the block design captures this idea fully.

Also the effectiveness of the “unfinished” features creates the desire in the critic to want to see more, imagine more, explore more within the art- isn’t this not the epitome of art?

I really like the design and I think the idea behind the format is quite clever. I don’t see why you need to work with the shape of the t-shirt if it has nothing to do with your theme? In the description you gave of the design, it’s pretty clear why you’ve used a ‘block’ format, and in my opinion it’s a successful design. I don’t see why one needs to label this as a block design? I can’t find anything wrong with the shirt other then it’s done beautifully.

beautiful design… but you’re not working with the shape of the tshirt. The tshirt is your canvas. You’re restricting yourself to a little block. Try again. I really like it. But you can do more with it.

The idea with a ‘block-design’ is to create a window/ film still through which she can give part of herself, but not reveal all at once - true to feminine nature.

She would’ve liked to show you more, but I think it’s a bit more intriguing this way.

Yeah the block has been used quite effcetively, but I still regard it as a “block design”.
I’m with Loko on the partial beheading. Beutifully done design, just needs a tweak here or there.
