Id agree with some of the comments that perhaps a splash of white to highlight, could enhance it, but after looking at if for the last 10min, im loving it more and more as it is…

I understand the brown is putting people off the design, Maybe it can work on another colour shirt, but I dont think I can change the design now.

WOW.. for a 1st submission.. you’re not playing games hey? BOOM POW! this is incredible. the composition- the bunny being pulled by the tree :D , the placement, the illustration standard.. i’m just in awe.. however, I do have 1 piece of criticism.. where’s that POP of colour? i feel like the design needed to stand out more.. even if it was a small white highlights, I just feel it sinks too deep into the T-shirt.

but WOW... high 5!

hrmmm… kudos on the line work! some magical stuff happening there. ;D not a fan of the colours though.. makes me feel kinda sick like a van gogh painting.. also, feel like it is too flat on the shirt and needs some more movement in the design.. you could have used the line work and extended it to integrate the T-shirt more, so it’s not so much of a copy + paste effect.

Thank you for all the comments, i really appreciate it. This is maybe not match with the theme “down the rabbit hole” as shown by the other designs, but i also remember the contest said that it didn’t have to be specifically about Alice in Wonderland, so I made a different look. However if it doesn’t make it with this contest, i’ll continue to participate and practice, perhaps for other suitable design. Thanks again for the feedback. Regards

Wowsers = not sure how it relates to the theme, but I am blown away by the SHEER AWESOMENESS of your illustration - major respect to the power of your design and illustration ability!!!

Is there some kind of dog in the story btw? Can’t remember - and no. I am not going to refer to other animals as being hot. eep.

I totally love the subtle yellow tones and the ridonculous artwork! Your line work here is freaking awesome.

I think that the things that would sent this HOT DOG design over the top would be a bit of a vintage effect and a less harsh end to the design at the bottom. The sudden end to the design jsut doesn’t do it justice at THAT SIZE.... so you could make it much smaller as a centralized smaller chest print and even consider a circle or crescent around the esign or just stop the design at the collar which would give it a rougher finish, which is what I think this damn fine illustration needs.

This is one hot dog and a hot design - a bit of editing here and there and it will go to a totally new level.

As we are moving into a new era are we going to take the stars and all the related theologies and ideas with us?

The stars have had great importance throughout our human history - are they just a forgotten ideal or will they be preserved into the next age? Thats basically the idea behind this awesome shirt…

Designed in Illustrator, this tee shows the star signs Capricorn, the Gemini twins, Leo, Sagittarius, Taurus and Scorpio

very good illustration, but i dont think it works well on a t-shirt, there’s no impact, and leaves you wondering whats going on… This would be far more effective in a magazine advetorial.

and of course Virgo is not displayed prominently enough… hehe

The theme is Down The rabbit Hole, it suggests more of a fantasy theme…it doesnt have to be all Alice and Cheshire cats. Its supposed to draw the twisted imagination out of you. I actually think this is rather clever. I’m not a fan of the way you have drawn the Ark, but the idea is unique.

Infinity by Milkdog is really cool. It warrants a reprint without the required numbers! No doubt, it will be sold out once again. It’s a classic logo/emblem and there’ll always be a hype around it!!!!

Ok, well I got some and they’re pretty awesome ;) Maybe wasn’t such a hot idea printing the green design on a green background, but still, it looked pretty awesome. Gave 2 of them away and the recipients were pretty stoked. Amazed at how much detail they can get into a print ha ha. Should take some photos when I can. Yo.

Well, not really. I didn’t get paid for it and I can’t submit it anywhere else. Payment is 2 shirts when they get printed. :( Oh well, they’ve since changed their model that’s there’s only one winner every 2 weeks, and that winner gets a handsome sum on money and lank shirt prizes. Better. Spent at least 5k of work on this shirt.
